In 1998 Remco began his career in information technology at the headquarters of IBM in the Netherlands. While at IBM, he was a member of the management team’s IT Support Group.
Following six years with IBM, Remco became the IT manager at two prominent architecture firms located in Amsterdam. From 2003 to 2010 he assumed responsibility for their entire IT infrastructure.
In 2010, seeking new challenges, Remco immigrated to Canada to live in the Bow Valley. He established Mountain Computer Support in late 2011 and commenced contract work in Calgary providing IT, software, and hardware expertise and problem-solving. His diverse client base includes companies in the hospitality industry, plumbers, recreational vehicle suppliers, sports, retail, financial, medical, veterinary, dental, and construction enterprises.
As a result of the improving economy in the Bow Valley, Remco has shifted focus from Calgary to providing computer support services to businesses and residents located in Exshaw, Canmore, Banff, and Lake Louise.
